About this projet

“The improvements brought to the Sartigan dam were made in the framework of a global project of watershed flood control in the catchment area of the Chaudière River. These improvements will help protect the inhabitants located in the area from spring flooding. The goal of the project is to increase the dams discharging capacity. The work will enable the dam structure to resist the impact of any eventual extreme climactic events. The modernization of this dam will therefore increase its safety to meet the new applicable standards”.
