Multiple section bulkheads
are usually called stoplogs.
Depending on the height to be sealed, it may include more than one section.
The height and quantity of stoplog sections are based on:
- The lifting height and capacity, difficulty of storing high sections and transportation constraint.
Bulkheads are installed and removed under balanced head using a lifting beam (follower beam) or lifting slings.
Allows dewatering of conduits or water passage to enable inspection and maintenance operations under dry condition.
