Waboose Dam, 270 km NE of Thunder Bay with no road access, diverts water from the Ogoki River toward Lake Nipigon. It includes 12 sluices with nine HSS steel stoplogs each. Recent logs were fabricated at 211.5″, shorter than the original 214″, with off-set spud engagement pockets.

SCOPE OF SUPPLY

The work includes the supply, delivery, and installation of all necessary materials, equipment, tools, methods, labour, and supervision to perform complete log lifter replacements at Cameron Falls GS, Pine Portage GS, Summit Control Dam, and Waboose Control Dam, in accordance with the provided specifications, procedures, and drawings.
