SCOPE OF SUPPLY

Mecan-Hydro supplied an automated trash rake cleaning system designed to improve intake performance under demanding hydraulic conditions.

The system consists of a patented, automatic, double-armed telescopic intake cleaner mounted on a self-powered mobile trolley. A specially designed cleaning head is attached to the end of the telescopic arms, allowing effective removal of accumulated debris from the trash rack.

The cleaner head features a jaw-type design capable of securely gripping a wide range of debris. Its lower edge functions as a scraper, enabling debris to be dislodged from the rack surface during the cleaning cycle.

The telescopic arms are mounted on pivots and are hydraulically controlled, allowing adjustment of the arm angle and applied pressure on the rack. Full hydraulic power is available during the downward scraping stroke to ensure efficient removal of all debris types.
