The Piney Hydroelectric Project is situated on the Clarion River in Clarion County, Pennsylvania. The facility comprises a 16-mile impoundment, a concrete gravity-arch dam reaching a maximum height of 139 feet, intake structures, and a powerhouse equipped with three vertical Francis turbine-generator units. The project was constructed in 1924 and is located approximately 3 miles southwest of the town of Clarion.

SCOPE OF SUPPLY

The scope of work includes the design, fabrication, and delivery of an approximately 31-feet-wide by 23-feet-tall movable floating bulkhead, along with any appurtenant structures required for its installation and operation. 

Prior to fabrication, engineering drawings and calculations sealed by a licensed Professional Engineer are to be submitted for review and approval. Upon approval, the bulkhead is to be fabricated in accordance with the approved drawings and delivered to the Piney Development site. 

Installation and removal procedures are to be provided in hard copy, and on-site technical support is to be furnished during the first installation and removal cycles.
